While preserving the original colors of the school. The possibilities are endless according to the needs of the user. The facility is open to anyone, from local residents to people from urban areas such as Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu City, as well as visitors from overseas.
The various colors that merge there at Plette will create a beautiful harmony in Iikane.
Founded in April 2017, Iikane Palette utilizes the schoolhouse of the former Iikane Elementary School, which was abolished due to consolidation in 2014. Under our “Fukuoka Content Valley Concept,” we strive to become a hub that promotes and gathers the content industry, mainly in music.
Iikane Palette is situated in the lush greenery of Tagawa, located between Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu City. It is a trend-conscious town surrounded by abundant nature, nursery schools, parks, and small shops.
Iikane Elementary School (former Iikane Jinjo Elementary School) was founded in 1876 and has now put an end to its 140-year history.
Having graduated a total of 6,543 students, this school was loved, appreciated, and has been the heart and soul of Iikane residents.
Three years after its abolishment, this wonderful schoolhouse has been given new life as “Iikane Palette” to become a new symbol that is welcomed by the local community.
