The Play Room did not exist on the premises in Iikane Palette’s conceptual stage. As the staff discussed designs and usability, we revisited the origin of our joy in going to school as children. This is how this room was born.
Both children and adults can interact through learning in this space, by means of games and experiences. Anyone may use this area, both indoors and outdoors, free of charge.
Relaxation RoomEquipped with ping-pong tables, board games, manga, games, and anything “playable,” this classroom for interaction among people is where indoor fun and learning merges. |

Iikane Garden PlaceThis garden was created by landscaping the inner courtyard of the former Iikane Elementary School with a soft lawn. There is enough space here for children to play house, badminton, dodge ball, or tag. It can also be used as a performance stage, or to enjoy a barbecue with a beer in one hand during pleasant seasons. |

Iikane Palette PlaceThis is an open space in front of the main entrance, where many wooden palettes and drums have been set up like an athletic park. There are many photogenic spots to enjoy photography here. |
